Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive:

• Profile information: your name, email address, and profile picture URL
• Google account ID: a unique identifier for authentication

When you use the Service, we also store:

• Research queries you submit (market names, product descriptions)
• Research results generated by the Service
• Usage data (credit balance, run counts, timestamps)

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Service
• To manage your account and credit balance
• To process payments through Stripe
• To communicate with you about your account (if necessary)

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored on our server (Hetzner, Germany). Research queries and results are stored in a SQLite database. We do not sell or share your data with third parties, except as necessary to operate the Service (e.g., Stripe for payments, Google for authentication).

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google OAuth — authentication
• Stripe — payment processing
• Hetzner — server hosting

Each of these services has their own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

5. Cookies

We use a single signed session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or analytics services.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (profile, research history, results) is permanently deleted.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data (visible in the app dashboard and billing page)
• Delete your data (by deleting individual research runs or your entire account)
• Export your research results

8. Security

We use HTTPS encryption for all connections, signed session cookies, and follow security best practices. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Service is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above.
